One of the most fascinating natural places in Ibiza, the tourist area of Portinatx is a popular stop during the Excursion of the Tour around the Island. The bay offers extraordinary panoramic views, crystal clear waters ideal for snorkeling, a high rocky coastline and a seabed of fine white sand. There are three beautiful fine sandy beaches in the area, all safe for children and with a wide range of activities. S'Arenal Gros, the largest, is located on the bay in front of the main bus stop. The smallest, S'Arenal Petit, is more secluded and you will find it behind the ledge of the rock, to the left of the main cove. The third is Playa Porto, surrounded by small hills full of pine trees.
It is a bay at the end of the main road where you will also see the lighthouse. Through all these coves there are fantastic walking routes to take some spectacular photos, so it's worth taking the time to explore.
